No pressure. No perfect answers. Just learning, discovering and growing — one little step at a time.
Every child learns differently. Every little step matters.
Each LLFC GROW Everyday Mission comes in two illustrated versions, allowing children and their grown-ups to choose the approach that feels most comfortable and helpful.
Keep it small. Make it manageable.
Fewer steps, larger pictures and short, clear instructions.
Ideal for children who prefer less information at once, benefit from visual prompts or want to explore one small action at a time.
Explore it step by step.
Five illustrated steps with fuller explanations and an optional opportunity to reflect.
Ideal for children who enjoy following a more detailed sequence, exploring each part of an activity and talking about what they discovered.
WHICH VERSION SHOULD I CHOOSE?
There is no right or wrong choice.
Start with whichever version suits your child's needs, preferences and energy today.
You can try either version, switch between them, use just one picture or return to the activity another day.
Both versions encourage the same important life skills.
Remember: These are not tests or ability levels.
Asking for help, making a choice, trying something new, taking a break or deciding to stop are all valid parts of the learning experience.

Discover the satisfaction of completing a small, manageable everyday task.
Start with one clean clothing item or agree to put away up to three items. The important part is understanding where the task begins and ends.
Explore different ways of letting someone know that help is needed.
Practise with a trusted adult in a gentle, imaginary everyday situation. Speaking, showing a card, pointing, writing or using a communication aid are all valid ways to ask.
Help is always available • it never has to be earned by completing the mission.
Every child learns differently. Some children may finish a mission in a few minutes; others may prefer to explore one picture or one step over several attempts.
Use the separate adult guidance before starting, particularly for activities involving money, safety or communication.
Be flexible. Follow the child's interests, comfort, energy and communication preferences.
Never withhold assistance, manufacture distress or insist that a child completes an activity that is upsetting or overwhelming.
These printables are learning supports, not tests or formal assessments.
Remember:
You can ask for help.
You can take a break.
You can try again another day.
You can stop.
